Nest Thermostat Integration
On May 8, 2019, Google announced a change to the way Nest products can be integrated with other smart devices and platforms. This will impact the ability for eKeypad to integrate with Nest products.
Google is making control of all Nest products exclusive to their Google Assistant platform and closing their existing “Works with Nest” program August 31, 2019. eKeypad uses the “Works with Nest” program.
What does this mean for me?
Unfortunately, this means that as of August 31, 2019 you will no longer be able to control your Nest equipment from eKeypad.
Your Nest products will continue to function on their own. This change only impacts the ability to access Nest products through eKeypad.
