This article details the steps required to export a backup by sharing on the local network. This functionality requires the device to be connected to a Wifi or ethernet network. The network sharing will not be available if a cellular data connection is the only detected option.
- Verify the local device is connected to a Wifi or Ethernet network.
- Open eKeypad and navigate to the Config -> Backup Files.
- Tap on the backup file and select the “Share on Local Network” option.
A popup window will appear showing the details of the backup file being shared. Closing this window will stop the sharing of the backup file.
